Well if I had to guess...(and its a guess)...i would have to say its a Late Die Stage (i say this because the letters are very close to the rim....mixed with a cent that has almost lived its useful life....Under Lincoln could be alot of things but I would say PMD from long ago that has been worn down with circulation of the coin...

Again...This is just total speculation.

Your coin is in a Very Late Die State(VLDS) and exhibits die crumbling underneath Lincoln's bust. That die crumbling is occasionally seen on the typically lousy 1920s branch mint Lincolns.

It just looks like a very very worn out Lincoln to me.With so much wear how can you tell anything about an error on this coin? When you say die crumbling is that a precursor to a Cud?

base of the bust is raised and runs into the rim. and their is a raised marking lower left of the base. also a raised dot at the center lower bust.

The "Marks" you see, if I am following you, under bust, between that & rim, most likely are partial raised letters from E PLURIBUS UNUM, from reverse...looks like the wheat grains are lightly clashed onto reverse also, but, need in hand to really see what's going on....best tool for understanding clashed dies, and, letter transfers is a rubber-tipped tong(wizard coin supply), where you place the tip in location of clash, and, on reverse side, the other tip will be in the target area of main clash..simple as pie.

The area under the bust is most definitely not a clash mark, this die crumbling associated with a VLDS Lincoln(I have only seen it on 1920s cents but I suppose it could exist on other denominations as well). Take a look at the link I posted, it shows another 1925D with even more severe die crumbling but most importantly, it is an AU coin that has not yet been worn down to a blur.
