That looks REALLY similar to my coin except its cropped. I recognized it straight away because of the toning. Why cropped the photo?

It's not worth anything until you show us what you have there. Because Chinese crown size coins are heavily counterfeited as well as there are high quality fakes, chances are you got a counterfeit if it's magnetic.

There is no date to this particular coin. Struck in between 1890 to 1908.

Geez this is an old thread. Of course I would recognize my own coin...

I was not actively looking for the Heaton mint variety - only knew its existence a couple of years ago. I'm certain I bought this more than 5 years ago just after the Chinese coin market started to drastically rise in value.
