I received a George Washington quarter in my change at a convenience store last year. Always on the look out for the non existent silver coins that might still be in circulation I noticed THIS! someone with advanced printing technology stamped over the coin with some sort of super strong metalic die punch. *** Edit by staff to remove unnecessary image which adds nothing to the conversation ***ancient astronauts? irregardless of who made this here it is. I put it in a cardboard holder for fear I would lose or spend it by accident. as for the value I was told this is unpriceable as its the only one known to be in existence so there is no precedent. if its hard to read the front says "queen nancy" *** Edit by staff to remove the obviously political comment *** on the back it says "all kneel before me" *** Edit by staff to remove the obviously political comments *** *** Edit by staff to remove the obviously political comment ***

Not really, it's just a counterstamp. Post-mint damage. Still weird though.

Uhhhh...your speculation is pointed at the puppet and not the puppet master, which is where it should be....Nancy Pelosi is "Queen Nancy"

Nice! And funny. :)
That must have taken some patience to make... it appears to have been stamped with individual letter dies.

Very interesting someone would stamp that on a quarter. And they did a nice job too. All of the letters are lined up nicely.

Being a moderator, I can see what was redacted. I have to agree that it was inappropriate, unnecessary, and incited a political discussion. If you want to talk politics, we have a place for it; but in this forum, we focus on the coins. The counter-stamp may be political in nature; but it is still an interesting find and worthy of numismatic discussion.

You've obviously not much experience with online forums, hondacobra. It was established a very long time ago that an online forum is private property. "First Amendment" arguments carry no more weight here than they would in your own living room, where you certainly have the right to refuse the offensive speech of another.
This is private property. Let me emphasize that. You are allowed here by the owner, who is legally-entitled to set the rules of usage. The First Amendment defines what a government may not do, not what a citizen may do.
Which is why you can throw out a guy who walks into your living room and insults your Mom, and why speech can be regulated here in whatever fashion the owner wishes, as long as it does not violate any law.

Honda- Did your future source confirm that FEMA Camps were the scheduled commemorative coin for 2016?
Just curious, need to save up for it.

You would have thought it would have been on a California Quarter.
