I just pulled this from a roll. It's odd enough that i'll keep it but I've never really been able to tell whether these things are worn/damaged or greased dies or what..... Any ideas?

Where did you find this at, bank roll or pocket change? The obverse does not show damage in any way, in fact it looks beveled meaning that it was not struck completely confirming Nova's theory that this was struck with a Grease Filled Die.

I found a 1962 silver dime in my car today, the best find I have had today. The other find turned out to be a scratch, booooo (

I found it in a bank roll. Anyone have an idea as to what type of premium something like this might carry?

I found an '04 nickel that looks (besides being a nickel) exactly like this cent. All you can make out on the obverse is '04.

From what I've seen on ebay I think you could get anywhere from 5 to 40 bucks for this. More on the high end if it was slabbed PCGS/NGC just to give the buyer peace of mind as to authenticity. I think what will hurt the premium the most, as knowledgable coin folks will know its real, is the no date.

Nice find!

I can't really see it on the coin but with the pictures I think I see a very faint 20--. Gotta keep eyeballin' it, see if I can make it out under better light or something.

I don't think it could be an 89...it would have a Wide AM if it was...

Definite keeper. With that much devices missing, someone will want it. I have one that I fought about 10 years ago and probably most have already seen it, but here it is again:
