I have no idea of mintage figures but...this is from the Perth Mint site: Proof Quality 99.9% Pure Silver This coin is struck from 1oz of 99.9% pure silver in proof quality. Australian Legal Tender Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, it features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse. Presentation Packaging Each coin is housed in a red leatherette presentation case, which is seated in red satin material inside a red display box bearing Chinese lettering on the lid. Certificate of Authenticity A numbered Certificate of Authenticity accompanies each coin. Made to Order This coin will be made to order by The Perth Mint, with the final mintage declared 12 months from the official release date.I would guess that figures would be unknown at this point in time.

Thanks Steve.
I'm happy I have one, but sort of surprised the mintage figure is so low. I would think the demand would be much greater.

Gary, I think the differences in our respective countrys' populations has a lot to do with the size of some of our mintage figures compared to Americas'.

Bob:
I'm sure you are right. It's just that they are such beautiful coins I would think they would be in demand internationally.
My set of Australian Lunar Coins is one of my three or four favorites of all the sets in my collection.
