When wanting an expensive coin, I have discovered the bread and water diet, as used by other members, to be quite effective.  The hunger pains eventually go away. Lol.

Birthday present to self.  Type 2 Sydney Mint 1866 gold/silver 141 years old. The silver alloy appears brighter than the gold/copper sovs. I can't believe how shiny it is for something 141 years old. That's why I love these coins, they don't seem to tone. Image: 1866sov2.jpg54.52 KB
