I have a chance to buy:

27 $1 silver cert. 1 is a star note

2 $2 1934G red seal

1 $5 1934A blue seal

These are all crisp, no folds & have been stored in a sleeve in a book. Pricing these are not my forte. What would be a fair price to offer? Keeping in mind I will most likely sell them.

I Thank You All in advance.

Chris, I would not pay more than $1.25 each for the $1.00's unless they are 1928 series. $2.50 each on the $2.00's and $7.50 for the $5.00...Not much profit left if you intend to sell them...imo.

crisp is the key word here, I think they are considerably more valuable than amida's estimate.
Maybe amida missed that. Not to put amida down in any way for the comment. Please don't be offended.
I would offer the seller a price that you feel is fair and take them if the price suits you.
Of course if it were me there would significant room for profit and expense in flipping these when reselling for your effort and investment.
Lucky you, I say.

First though I would do a search on completed auctions for these and go from there.

I stand by my #'s. Personally I would not buy these notes at all...Too much work for the margin to sell them individually and no room for profit if you sell as a group to a wholesale buyer....imo

I would offer twice the face for them, and go from there. Nothing ventured...nothing gained.

(I'm sure that I plagiarized somebody)

Start with double face and see where that goes. The star notes for silver certs aren't worth as much as you would think, in my experience.

The series would really be needed for the $1 SC to determine their value though.

Twice face would be a good deal to start with. The star is going to be worth more than that though.
