Seems that it is having a good effect, people buying stuff they don't actually need is always good for the economy.

Send them our huge surplus of dollar coins to start. It sounds like they'd make good use of them as they are wearing out $1 notes.

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing.

They should offer special holiday packages for tourists that pay in US coins.

It would encourage tourism and bring the needed coins to them.

I go along with that. Not to many use them here.
And I don't see a problem at all. They are so close to China, why not just ask China to make more of the USA coins.

A very interesting read.
It's sad, though, that such a country is being forced to rely on foreign money to sustain themselves. I guess their gold experiment was only working for gangsters. Hyperinflation will come here, too, don't you worry.
Send them Canadian cents; we don't need them anymore.

What they need is for an entrepreneur to step in and start striking tokens like they did in our civil War or like the Conder tokens of the late 18th century in Great Britain.

A new Mint in Zimbabwe. With a mint mark Z
Who would go and buy an ASE with a mint mark Z. That would be interesting. I like the idea of making travel discounts for tourist to go into Zimbabwe to use coins.

I would love to have a $100 Trillion Dollar Zimbabwe Silver Eagle. I'd even pay above spot for it. I've already written the advertising jingle:

The ZSE!
It's for me!

The exact same reason why a massive quantity of Sacagawea dollars went to Ecuador.
