Nice one from the Wash D.C. BEP! Looks like it has a hard fold in the middle (just to the left of TWENTY), maybe two lighter folds. I would place it in the middle pages of "War and Peace" for a spell.

@OIh82W8 You are correct. It has one strong fold in the center and two light folds on the sides. I don't have a copy of War and Peace but it is in the middle of the largest book I could find. Thanks everyone.

Have you ever tried ironing money to get the wrinkel out. I used to do it with collectable cards. I put a cloth over the paper to protect it. No steam of course

Very neat find and appears to still be in good shape! I have never tried ironing money so I would not know the effects of it but from what I have read not all wrinkles are bad. Some of them form naturally as the ink on the paper dries. I think it is very similar to a freshly printed page heavy with text or pictures that just came out of an inkjet printer and the paper starts to wrinkle as the ink dries. To currency collectors, I think that paper wave is a sign of originality and is not something you want to remove. I could be wrong since I am mostly a coin guy. Someone with more experience in currency would probably be in a better position to comment on it.

From what I've heard, ironing currency is along the same lines as cleaning coins.
I had a friend who was a baseball card dealer in the 80s when the business was really heating up. He picked up a Hank Aaron rookie card with a crease. He put it in a hard plastic card holder then parked the front tire of his truck on it overnight. Voila! Crease is gone!

Awesome find! The book idea is the safest thing to try. Put the note in a currency holder too, to avoid any ink from the book pages getting on it.
