Curious question but are there other places to list coins for sale?

I also use ecrater...it's a store builder. Not as much exposure than ebay but, there are no fees :) If you are looking for other auction sites, I think Yahoo has one.

I've seen people mentioning Kijiji and Craigslist. You can also list here after you get to 250 posts.

Kijiji is a great site for selling. It is NOT an auction style site, and as such you need to set a price and hope that someone is interested. As someone said, there are no fees on Kijiji. There is NO protection for sellers or buyers. You can therefore offer a bit lower prices and still maintain the same amount of profit that you are aiming for.

Like vermontensium and midd said, you can't beat ebay for buyer/seller volume and relative buyer protection. Hate the fees, though.

Kijiji is great for selling expensive stuff or anything to large or expensive to ship. I sell small cheep stuff on ebay. ebay seems to move product much faster then Kijiji. With 50 free auctions a month I just post a 1 day auction and price it like a buy it now sale with a very high price. Kijiji is not totally free, the force you to post in generic categories rather than specific ones. The result of this is that your item is hard to search for and gets bumped to a back page fast. That being said you can pay to make your post a top add or to pump it back up. I have found it easier to just delete my old add and re post every other day than to pay $2 for re-bump or $15 for a top add. Kijiji does work, I've sold $10,000 forth of coins there in my spare time. If you are selling stuff on Kijiji don't let anybody in your house or let them know just how much stuff you really have. Some people use Kijiji and Craigs list to scout people's houses for robberies later. Another thing to be careful of ; a guy in Canada wanted me to send a very expensive set of coins to Nigeria. He was going to pay me much more than I wanted and $200 for shipping. I did not hang around long enough to find out what the scam was. Don't ship anything to Nigeria!

Here's the scam: He sends you $1000 more than you want by cc, tells you to wire him back $800 and ship overnight. By the time you get told the cc is fake or stolen, you're out the product and the $800. As them to wire the money or mail cash, and suddenly you never hear from them again. , ksimms3!
