You have pulled yet another odd ball round out of your sleeve sir, well done. I have never seen that one before.... Actually T, that is the famous Floridian skunk ape, named for its foul odor from many years in living in an around the swamp. Commonly smaller then your typical northwestern mountain Bigfoot. They all differ from climate an continent such as the cold weather yeti of course commonly spotted in the alps, to the red colored Russian wild man. Some Russian soldiers actually accidentally shot an killed one during world war II, as they found it in a cave mistaking the beast for awol soldiers. They figured it was a dead end species like a wild Tarzan or Neanderthal perhaps.... They call him Almas in Asia.... http://www.unknown-creatures.com/almas.htmlThis here is a REAL skunk ape picture.... This litte guy here is a REAL Yeti.... EdB has several of these here running around in his backyard.... I managed to sneek up on this big fella an thought I had finally ended the mystery. But all the guys over at the bigfoot board thinks it is not a bigfoot, but rather a close up shot of cousin It....

It was a very limited release by a small group. Think I heard Silvertowne filled the order. 100 were made in all, if memory serves. I bought four for $80 a while back. They also came with a card/COA.

It's legit. I've seen them at post offices everywhere. Not silver though. The original you posted was pretty cool though traevin. You have the coolest stuff.

wildspinx,
Real. But cupronickel, as ztt2 mentioned. So, despite the cryptozoological theme, which I'm a fan, no interest on my part of actually owning one of the Canada quarters.

Quote: EdB has several of these here running around in his backyard.... Lol, Hawk! I've roamed around a bit in the woods hereabouts but never saw one of these or even any tracks that one might have made. Guess that I just never found the right spot to meet up with one of these. I would not shoot one of these if I saw it unless it charged me. It would be a lot cooler to get some good pics of one. Who knows what The National Enquirer would pay for those! Could get some really nice PMs with that kind of jingle!

I haven't the foggiest idea if they exist or not but if I were fortunate enough to ever see one and get real footage, I don't know if I'd want to show the world the evidence. Something I'd debate long and hard. If they exist, they're doing alright without human interference and that's assuredly the way they want it.

Nice one T - you certainly do have some of the interesting silver pieces that I've seen on this board!
