Just purchased this gal from a fellow EAC member, who has a passion for Chain Cents. It's not the prettiest Chain Cent but, does look pretty decent in hand. It's been confirmed an S-4. The vine and bars edge is visible, with the bars being slightly more prominent. LIBERTY almost full and ONE CENT plainly visible in hand. This will be a welcome addition to my Dansco 7099

That is probably one of the coins that I will never obtain. Nice one!

Believe me, this one was within the realm of affordability. Most were way out of my reach.

Nice Dave! As far as I know, you are one of the only CCFers to have one of these. It has great surfaces, and I think a TPG would likely consider it problem free.

Thanks John! The planchet is very nice in hand. We'll see what NGC says once I get it back. It does have some edge dings but nothing major :)

Fine addition for a set! I'm impressed that the wear, obverse and reverse, appears so even. The date and legend aside, other details are easily discerned. The solid chain is a great plus. Enjoy!

You mean no one else except me has a complete roll of those?
Nice going. Not a lot of those floating around.

Dave - that's awesome and congratulations!

That coin has been a dream of mine for a long time.

Once again the history comes to mind. That coin has probably traveled in the pockets of some very famous of our founding fathers.

Carl, like my roll of 1804 Dollars ;-)

Thanks cipster! Too bad we can't take some underlying grime off and test the DNA!
Or just follow the coin back in time. Man!
