Interesting. The top picture on the John Flynn side looks like that (possible) ink mark goes right to the left side of the note at the same distance from the border. Is that right?
Does it crease where the ink is?
From the larger shots, it looks like the ink starts on one side from the (just off verticle) crease & then the reverse on the other side.
Looks like it could be light ink marking...how? I can't tell you.
PMD? Possibly if it is a crease that has ink on either side of it.
But the ink mark that is parallel to the base border is interesting.

goatieman23...absolutely no folds on this note at all....the bit on the 'Mary Reibey' side does not match up with the other side...it actually starts where the other finishes. On the 'John Flynn" side,Could this be the reverse of the heavy base line of the plane?

I've been having a look (spewing I don't have better imaging software on this PC at the moment).
I doubt it would be the heavy base line of the plane? (because the base line on the plane is curved)
I've put some pictures together to get out minds ticking over this a little more.
I've included lines where I thought they may be creases. I know that from time to time the NPA print some notes with light straight creases in them (which can only really be seen under angled light). I have seen many of these first hand.

Areas that I thought were creases:
Twenty-Dollar-Error?
Flipped to see the same area start/finish:
Twenty-Dollar-Error?
Again the areas that I thought were creased flipped:
Twenty-Dollar-Error?
A line over the what looked like creases:
Twenty-Dollar-Error?

It could well be an ink error.
