They are doing these on a "coin to demand" basis and they are keeping the ordering period open for four weeks basically June 7 through July 7. So they may be planning to take all the orders, see how many they have to make, and then start production. Report this Post to the Staff
wquinn Pillar of the Community United States 2295 Posts	Posted 05/10/2012 3:39 pm I would think that is what they are doing too, but they definitely know they will sell over 100,000 coins, so why not start it 2-3 weeks early, to keep up with the first week or two of sales? Thanks for the catch... my kids in school always wondered why I laughed right along with them when I made mistakes in front of them. They were not used to a teacher who always made it clear to them he most certainly did NOT know everything; was more than happy to admit to have to look it up and get back with them; and always was ready to admit to being a human being also. simonsays New Member United States 39 Posts	Posted 05/19/2012 8:26 pm Yes I got the email/ad as well from the mint. They did not do this with the 25th anniv sets. So they may be listening to us. I called and they continue to say that there are no ordering limits. I will learn from my 25th Anniv. Set experience/nightmare. I will buy one set from the mint (a raw set for me) and then purchase a graded first strike set in 70's signed by Mercanti( at a premium) once the dust settles.
