So I just went to the bank and got $20 in 20c pieces to have a look through. Is there anything in particular to look for?

You could start by looking for the following:

1966 - Wavy 2 (London Mint)
1981 - 3.5 Claws (Winnipeg Mint)
2004 - Large Head & Small Head
2001 - Donald Bradman
2001 - Federation (various states)

I'm sure that there are heaps more that you can look for, but these are the only ones I can think of at the moment. I also look for any proofs that have been accidentally released into the wild, so that I can give them a home.

see, I'm not convinced about the 1971 - whenever I got a $100 bag of 20c pieces I always picked up 10 or so of them.

The 1971 is not as hard as say the 1972 5c but still low mintage and generally difficult to find. Off the top of my head; other than the 1985 (which I am yet to find from thousands and thousands of $$$ of 20c) the 1971 is the lowest mintage platypus.

Didn't come across a 71 or 85.
Good fun looking through them though.

The only way I'm going to get my hands on a mule is if I'm lucky enough (and I mean amazingly lucky) to come across one in my change.
