Have anyone purchase this book?
How is it?

I've read the book review on About.com and it seemed like a very good book, especially for Beginner Canadian coinage collector like me. I would like to hear from Canadian collectors.

I saw it's on Amazon and Walmart.com
ISBN-13: 9780794822514
ISBN-10: 0794822517

Walmart is $16.96+tax and free shipping (pick up at store) for US customer, not sure Canadian customer. Amazon is about the same price.

sorry I don't have that one but I have the 2012 coins of canada by haxby (with dino coins on the cover) I think it's ok but this one doesn't have the variaties.
alot of people will only go with the charlton

ISBN-10: 0889683476
ISBN-13: 978-0889683471
watch if you go with the charlton used are more expensive than the new ones.
you can also check coinsandcanada.com

I'm not familiar with this particular edition, but I've always found the Haxby guides helpful.

As a beginner I started with coinsandcanada.com as suggested by kenney. Just picked up the 2012 Charlton and found it quite straightforward to work with. Good pictures for the main varieties and so on.
