I bought this raw at the Denver ANA. What do you think it would grade?

I don't think the coin has been wiped, but I suppose it's conceivable based on the obverse area on the left. However, I did have an ex-NGC grader review this exact coin and he really like it and thought it should grade without problem. After a couple of days, I'll reveal his grading opinion.

I would guess MS-61 or MS-62

These photos show slight friction in the fields, IMO enough to bring the grade down to AU-58. Otherwise, well-struck with few marks. Very nice type coin!

Looks like some rub on the hair under the lady's ear. That would put this in the higher side of AU in my opinion.

My head tells me a TPG would call it AU58; my gut says it hasn't seen circulation.

Submit it and let's see. If this gets au58, its the best I've ever seen as I've seen some cruddy ms60-63s

Looks MS-61. Luster is a bit too nice IMHO for an AU

Looks to have a lot of original surface left. With that said, MS61.
Very nice piece.

I love these coins with the mint luster they are capable of. Spectacular. Nice little die crack along the top of 'STATES'.
Few tiny marks in the fields.
I would have to convince myself that there is the slightest amount of wear on the high points of the wing leading edges and feathers, but I don't think so. Therefore, MS61 or 2.
Nicely photographed.

Great observations everyone! sel_69l - I noticed the die crack AFTER I photographed the coin!
I bought the coin from the dealer as a "circ"...no grade. The ex-NGC grader (dealer) I showed it to gave it a grade of AU58. I think that's a fair grade. I think there's too much chatter in the fields for it to grade MS, but I doubt it really saw an real circulation though.
