I don't think that's it. It's a fairly recent discovery so I'm still looking. Check the reverse also for RDV 006.

That's not the doubled ear 88 on CC...but new coins are discovered all the time so that doesn't preclude it from being something. Better,closer pics would help...is the anomaly raised..is it a bubble ? I think I'd set it aside for better pics...or maybe send to Chuck at CC.

For some reason I come across a number of 1988's that look very similar to this. It looks more like a hit to me; don't think it's a DDO. But as always I could be very wrong!

Now I'm leaning toward plating blister because of the shape....but you still may want to send to Chuck Daughtrey (not Chazman)at coppercoins.

I was also thinking some kind of bubbling or blistering. some kind of chemical got on this one
