Is that a carbon spot on the reverse?

I was thinking so but I have been feeling down lately about collecting. It has just been difficult, especially on my budget :(

FWIW, I think to really enjoy the journey that this hobby sometimes throws at you, you have to embrace patience as much as successful hunting. And if SuperDave said you got a good buy, as he did, you should be dancing like the fruit he gave you.
Can I ask what your high bid amount was? Just curious. When I come in second (not your auction), I always wonder how far away from winning I actually was.

Ya, my high bid was 160 and thats what I won it for. I wasn't going to go over 160 because I told myself that it was my limit on price. Thanks, I truly hope that it was a good deal!

You forgot to mention the $3 for postage. Just kidding. It's a nice coin and a RD grade too. I wonder if there will be a commemoritive of that one in 2013?

I doubt that spot is on the holder... but who knows. I still think you got a good price for that bad boy. I want pictures when you get it in hand!

He guaranteed me that the spot was a piece of dirt on the holder when he took the picture. Who knows?

Well I got an awesome PCGS AU58 from an ebay seller for $120. Others in the same grade were going for an average of $135. I think you got a good deal. And I think if you changed your mind, you wouldn't have a problem selling it to make your money back. I'm not an expert though, that's just my opinion.

I think you did well, I am actually surprised you won it for that amount... Like ONEBOWL said, I too always wonder how much the next high bidders max is, I seem to always lose ebay coin auctions for some reason! I don't think it has anything to do with not willing to spend enough, I just feel like I am never successful at it, and when I am, I end up spending a fortune because at that point it turns into more of a competition than a purchase, I go into an ebay bidding frenzy! HAHA!

A very nice coin. Please update us on when you get the coin. If it was dirt on the holder, then that is one amazing cent! Otherwise, still, a very nice cent.

Received the coin yesterday in the mail and it is an amazing looking coin! I got the coin for the XF price and its MS63. Yes, the black spots you can kind of see in the picture are small carbon spots on the coin, but they are very very minor. Still think this was a great deal?

Why do sellers lie? He guaranteed that the spot was on the holder. That would make me mad. I still think you got a good deal, carbon spots don't bother me too much, but the fact that he couldn't tell the truth. I'd give him neutral feedback.
are you gonna crack it out and album it?
