Is This Toned JFK Worth Anything? - Coin Community Forum

Could someone give me some ideas? BTW - it is shiny with original luster in appearance - my lighting technique was no good. wquinn Pillar of the Community United States 2295 Posts	Posted 05/18/2012 10:25 am I don't think the toning on that coin adds any extra value to it. The coin looks like it has a little wear on the hair too. Are you trying to sell it or buy it? I just see a value of 50 cents on it. Report this Post to the Staff

Pics in sunlight - luster/sunlight hinders toning showing in these pics. So what makes a collectible toned coin vs. who-cares-type toning?
