It never was, it is altered. Someone trying to perfect a way to fake them. So keep on the watch on ebay for fakes.

I find it fascinating that someone would actually take time, effort a hammer and soft die to this. Even more amazing is this "priceless coin forum with vast advance analysis Sadly, I believe that this is most likely PMD due to the reverse, still, I'm baffled on the mindset that would do this! Thank you all for your inputs. When I return home I will view this reverse more and will take more pictures to look for anything other than PMD on that reverse.
