 there was a series with States on them. Yours is Masonic seal.

tatt2ed13 if you enter counter stamped in the search box upper left of page you will find some info. I find a few every year with my roll searching. You can start a nice collection from roll searching. John1

I did just do that , and I see a BUNCH I would like to find haha .. Very cool , and since I just re-started roll hunting with Pops this is the start to a new aspect of collecting for us .!!

Ment to add - My confusion came from thinking that the "Counter Stamps" were the ones I've seen with say A "BANKs" names on them or something of them lines .. lol ... Honest mistake ... And really appreciate the help and guidance to finally know what its proper name / classification is .. Now reading more into them then I did a few years ago , I see it goes for anything stamped into the coin in general .. As always , Learning alot from you guys and seeing more just helped me understand that they "DONT ALL HAVE BANK NAMES"  ... Phil \m/
