I bought a bill as UNC... uncirculated.. and now have it up on ebay as an UNC bill.. to me it was uncirlulated.. That hasn't changed... but when someone asked me today about my bill if it had any flaws.. I took a closer look and I see some ripples on the edge... I am trying to build my ebay and don't want to give false information... but to me it is still an uncirculated bill.. Let me know what you think..? and what would you do if you think the ripple makes it an uncirculated quality?...Pull it off.... You guys are the only ones I KNOW that can Help me.... Thanks

Ripples on Devils Head notes are actually a sign of originality. When these notes were printed, to much ink was used which caused ripples in the paper (along with darker colours when compared to modified notes). When Devils Head Note's still have the original ripples in the paper, it's a sign that it has never been pressed. You can also look at the embossing to make sure it has not been pressed.

To Summarize; Ripples on a Devils Head note are a good sign, and are needed to achieve the higher grades of Unc.
