Howdy folks - been a mite slow around these parts as far as collecting goes, but that's a good thing - let me save up enough to get my second 1893 S Morgan.
With this coin, I now have two complete sets of Morgan dollars - way cool, huh?
Didn't take as long to complete the second set as it did the first because the first set is a mite higher in grade - still, I'm happy to have gotten it finished.

w1a9c8k5 - my first 1893 S grades G-4 as well; however, it has some gouges in the temple area. I posted it here back when I got it - I think it may have been in the grading forum - I'll transfer it to the second set because of the gouges, and put this newest one (after I crack it out of it's plastic tomb) in the first set.

Moe and CB - thanks guys - 'course, it probably doesn't have to be said, but I have no 1895 in either set - strictly business strike Morgans.

Congrats! If business strikes are all you are going for, then it is all downhill from here.

Double Eagle - don'y know about downhill - it has taken me seven years to complete these two sets of business strike Morgans - sticking with just the business strike ones because, frankly, I can't really afford the proof Morgans.
Got a complete set of Peace dollars, and they're all business strike coins as well.
However, I did start collecting proofs and business strikes beginning with the Eisenhower dollars, and followed through with the SBA, Sacagawea, Presidential, and ASE Dollars, so I guess it would be safe to say, I have one of every business strike from 1878 through 2011, and one of every proof from 1971 through 2012.

Congrats on the coin and the set. I'm still searching for my first 1893-S.
