Poll Question
Sounds like a substitute from the satin finish coins produced from 2005-2010. They will be a first year of issue http://mintnewsblog.com/

A little late IMO. If your gonna do it, why not do it for all the ATB Quarters?

Or they can start a new series? Just imagine, commemorative dimes!

Forgot to mention, in a perfect world I would rather see them just redesign either the quarter or nickel all together for the special S mint series if they are set on doing one. But again make sure all the dates are included for whatever they pick

It's a conspiracy! The mint and the album companies are in it together! Just kidding. Maybe they will only be offered this year so there will be the same issue with the ATB Dansco albums as the 1996-W dime. 7125 doesn't have the hole for it, but the 8125 does. http://www.coincommunity.com/forum/...PIC_ID=69344

I woke up this morning hoping this was just a nightmare.
Looking at my #8146, I don't even know if they'll be able to fit them on redesigned pages without spreading a single year across multiple pages. And with as long as it's taking for Dansco to come out with updated albums this year (7070, the new cent and nickel albums, etc.) I have no idea where I'd put these coins any time within the next decade.

Thanks for sharing the info. I didn't hear about this until you posted it.
I voted dislike, since it is too late in the series to do it. Now if they minted them for circulation and included them in the Mint sets, then that would be a greater idea.
And for Dansco holders, maybe just get some blank pages and include them in their own book? Maybe Dansco will have some official pages later on this year?

I like and yup, definitely going to make album corrections necessary.

There goes the 8146 (and the 8147 if this isn't a one year anomaly), I liked it when it was a single year per page. I might just start a new album if Dansco redesigns it.

Larger yearly Sets ? ....... hmmm ..... This would make, what ? ....... 33 coins total in the Uncirculated Mint Sets ? ....... SHEEESH ! WOW ! That's a LOT ! Interesting.... 5 more new coins added....hmmmm Maybe this means they're going to discontinue the Presidential dollars > ?...... And they still want the annual Sets to have some "heft" to them maybe ?...... so that sales won't be hurt ? Makes me wonder........ I'm glad I have not purchased the ATB Dansco yet ! ....... ..... WHEW !

Seems like a okay idea, but I would prefer it to have been for the entire series. It seems kind of random to add it in now. I wonder what sets they will be included in? ...Just another way for the mint to create sought after coins that will command a nice premium for them, I can't blame them, but it does seem kind of random.
