Thanks Coinstar, The US mint issues 2 Commemorative a year, this was issued in 2005 Mint State and Proof, This would be a Modern Commemorative,They have issued POW, Disable Veteran's and others.

It really is a great series. These are the coins that first got me started collecting. Recently picked up the POW one. I really love the Vietnam, WW2, and Civil War ones as well

KenRingold, Any Coin or Token American and Foreign All is Good and ALL are Welcome and Appreciated Greatly.This Coin was given to me by my God Son this past Christmas while on leave. He now has sand in his boots again. Trout1105 Thank You for pointing out specifically those on duty now. My thoughts are with them daily as it is with many in my family that have served in past conflicts.

This coin actually works into two wars. French-Indo China became Vietnam after WW II.   I have more world coins of World War II that I can post if you like Mr. Stewart.
