Not a fan of ebay .. but to each his own for those who use it lol . Id suggest looking into heritage as well and seeing what you can get for one like ur's (u should be able to search the site for previous auction listings) .. but with any online auction or auction in general you will have some kind of fee . Why not hold onto it for a bit , stick around here .. then when your able to you can sell to the mass's here ... Just a thought .. Best of luck , would love to see it .!! ** Phil \m/

A 1983 certified Bronze penny? CCF members needs a lot more information to help you. Pictures, certification, need a show and tell. Maybe I'm not informed of this variety. Hope others can help.

If it is slabbed, I would go with Heritage. Seems like buyers there are in it for the long haul.

If not already slabbed try Stacks/Bowers. They will send it out for you to NGC at a real discount if you consign with them. Even if already slabbed give them a shot. Great service along with some other freebies and only 5% on their take. Only place I will ever use on a biggie.

My best luck has been Teletrade...got $2600 for a coin thought to be worth $1000 or less. There are some serious error/variety collectors lurking there.

Just curious, are you and your ex going to split the proceeds ? Man, he must have went through a lot of coins ! Dogged determination, no doubt.
