I'm not talking about street addresses in location, but at the posters' options, could we have more more info than

At least country, perhaps even state or city (I don't think SF, NYC or Chicago will set anyone up for a hit on his bag of wheat cents).
Just a more friendly group.

Members can already see your location in your profile. Not sure how much each member would want shown to the public? maybe an option? I would be okay with state and country shown.

We can already see your "country" in the visible part of the profile, over on the left hand side. Unless you think "USA" means "North America", for some reason. City and State are already options to you can enter manually in the main profile, which is invisible to non-members / people that aren't logged in. How precise and/or accurate you make that is entirely up to you, as can be seen from BF's profile. It makes for an excellent spammer-catcher, since neither the spambots nor the poor-English-skills spammers seem to know that "Shanghai, Canada, USA" is a nonsense city-state-country address. Don't say "infinitely" when you mean "very"; otherwise, you'll have no word left when you want to talk about something really infinite. - C. S. Lewis

I'm assuming you mean under each members avatar and name. There are some reasons it's not there.
Dad doesn't like it cluttered in that section. There has been discussions about other addons that never went anywhere
You have the ability to click on any members name and see their city, state, and country depending on how much information that they are willing to divulge. However all of that info is only available to other members.
Personal preference I like that only the country is listed in the main forum. Adding other info would clutter it and it'd be one more thing that a new members would have to ask "how to I remove my city and state?"

I have already found that house in nevada. full of wheates that I stole :X but dont tell. my plan is to find out where you all live and travel the world stealing coins.
