There Are some members here who have the words "On Vacation" where "Valued Member" should be....How did they put that there?

They put that there by doing something which caused us to show them the door.

They are folks that have committed some sort of violation of forum rules. Publicly marking banned members is a relatively new feature here on CCF. We chose to say "On Vacation" rather than "Banned", because some of the folks "on vacation" are only serving a brief time in exile, suspended for a relatively minor infraction before being allowed back in.

The moderators have a duty of care to maintain this standard and I take my hat off to them for doing it in the manner that they do. How bout "slapped" for minor and "slapped silly" for serious infractions. edit ( afterthought ) Now that I posted that I hope I never get "on vacation" since I will probably get the "slapped"  title. Edited by TNG

Or "banished".
