Folks, I need a little help with this one.
It still has a good deal of the mint luster; however, it's dull in overall appearance.
There is, what I believe to be, evidence of wear on the hair above the ear, and on the tips of the eagle's wings, but the amount of wear is what is causing my confusion. Should I list it as an AU of XF? All help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Ralph

Hi Ralph,
I would be very pleased to buy an XF dollar that looked this good. If I were selling it I would call it an AU-50.

If it has some mint luster, perhaps XF45 or AU50. The coin appears to have been dipped at one time and there's dip residue left over, hence the brown tinge around the rims, etc. My guess is that this coin will sell at XF money.
