aladinslamp Pillar of the Community United States 3076 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 02:54 am while your close ups are nothing other than normal clashing pics and placements, your full shots show little detail to help place date and mint mark and then the cracks and such to nail this one down...One must remember, the date and mint mark are the first steps to identifieing the VAM...from the full size shots I can't see any real detail; Report this Post to the Staff

SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 05/25/2012 08:01 am The "smoking gun" attribute of 2A is not the clashing - for any VAM noted with clashing, an unclashed example is likely to be found unless it's a subvariety whose specific delineation is the clashing. 2A's signature attribute is the "1 below the 8" under the date.
