i posted this coin in two previous posts: the first had only the mint mark image posted. the only response was that full images of the obverse and revers might be helpful. the second post included several images, and also generated only one response/opinion. I also posted the coin/and questions on another forum. it generated a few additional comments on that site. ultimately I submitted this coin to mr. bob piazza - coppercoins.com.
his conclusion and two additionl photos of matching die markers - confirm it is the 1MM-003 on coppercoins.

sorry to coin community members, if my posts and or photos are of so little interest or clarity as to be worthy of your comments or opinions.

sorry to ruffle your feathers but it was not intentional but I assume my reason will be like alot of other members I truly do not have any idea about your coin I dont see the big difference so as to not say something wrong I didnt comment I as others comment all the time when its in our wheelhouse and we are certain we can be helpful in this one case you were ahead of the pack so to say. you have good eyes we need that but any unintentional backlash was not our intent.
Rest in Peace

dbrablec I am probably one of the many who looked at the photos and moved on. There is no emoticon for -- "Wow! This is really over my head!"

Well, maybe this little guy

I've visited coppercoins.com. I've been lost in the woods. It feels about the same to me. But every day I come here to look and learn. So thanks for sharing.

In your first post you asked;"how does one determine if this coin is an earlier die state, or later. thanks in advance.". This could be beyond the ability of many of the 146 members who visited your post. Then your re-posted with full coin shots when you should have just added the photos to your original post.If someone had subscribed to your first post they may not have known about the second. Finally in your second post you repeated the same question. It is possible the pros, who would have been able to give an answer, never visited or just missed it.

I didn't realise all the members of this community were here expressly for you. I'm sure as soon as you buy me a computer and pay for my internet I will post when you deem it necessary for me to post replies.

I am not sure if you meant to come off rude or sound mean but you did. Most people if they don't have anything good/constructive/educational to say they do not leave a comment because they don't want to give out poor information.

FYI...your coin is a M/M/M if it is an 003....it is also not in the best of shape and probably only worth around $1.50 I do not collect Mint Mark Varieties so sorry if I'm not interested in your coin.

To quote from coppercoins.com,"A tripled upper serif shows the three distinct punchings of this variety."

If I had only known about your first two posts I could have ignored this topic completely

Comments like this are surely not going to inspire many members here to offer any opinions to your questions in the future. Your original post and question was directed to a specific specialization that not every member on the forum would be qualified to answer. After you made a second post on the subject...instead of updating your first post with the new pictures as you should of done...many members may of been turned away from your post with your reply to your own topic. Just because a person makes a post on the forum does not entitle them to an answer. Not every post will be read by a member with the specific knowledge that you were asking for with the two posts.

It is good to see that you were at least proactive enough to send your question directly to a member with the specific knowledge that you were looking for to get your question answered. Congratulations!

Then to make this post as you did to more or less slap the other members here in the face for not answering your question is just childish.
