I suppose this is Die Deterioration, right? Is this considered a sought after or collect-able error? Wondering if I should hang on to it or toss it back...

otherwise the coin is normal...nothing different other than what is pictured.

I have seen many that look like this. when started copper plating crap(otherwise known as zinc)it seems like half the cents in circulation have some sort of plating issue
