I'm looking at this one to buy.

What do y'all think of grade and value.

It is graded by ANACS which I will show in a couple of days.

Thanks for looking.

I think the coin would grade MS-62+ though given how they have been grading it would probably be in a MS-62 holder. MS-62's sell for about $250 and MS-63's for about $300.

I would give your coin a MS63. There are no blatant nicks, scratches or luster grazes on the coin. It appears to have a nice luster to it and the eye appeal is there. The strike isn't that great but overall a nice coin.

MS-62 or so.

Value should be about $210 wholesale or $250 retail.

Thanks all for your responses.

This is how ANACS graded the coin.

If $320.00 is the price he is asking for the coin it is too much. That is MS-63 money and you can find a decent PCGS or NGC MS-62 for less and it will have better resale value when its time to sell.

It's priced a tad high for that holder, now if it was in a GSA holder that price would be a steal!

As to the grade it's fair, I just noticed I missed a large hit right behind the cap on the obverse at 2:30/3:00 that is what probably kept it in a 62 instead of a 63 holder, the color in the photo is off (bad white balance) the coin also may be darker than I'd and ANACS would like to make a 63 grade.

This is a little better shot of the obverse.

Coin World is showing 275 for 62, and 450 for 63, so I dont think that is an outrageous price. Not a steal, but not bad. And nice coin. And I am jealous, mine is a VF example. Wanna trade?
