Hi everyone I am relatively new to coin collecting (namely lincoln cents). I recently went through a couple hundred dollars in pennies and I think I may have found a 1970 S small date, a possible 1988 reverse 89, and a 1991 reverse error/double die. I am aware that the 1970 S cent is commonly mislabeled which is why I am asking for everyone's opinion on this. Also the same being with the 1988 reverse 89. I would also like to have everyone's opinion on the 1991 reverse double die as well. If I am wrong on any of them feel free to correct me like I said I am relatively new.

to CCF. The 1970 is a large date. I can't tell on the other photos needs to be close up shots and more clear. On the 1991 what do you think is the error?

On the 1991 the C and N in cent is doubled and also a few other letters in America which I show in the picture after it. Like I said I am new to this so any help is appreciated.

I agree with John1, with the pics here I don't think the 1988 has the 1989 reverse, on the 1991 could be Machine Doubling. Clearer and closer pics would be a help !! You at a great forum. There are many knowledgeable People here willing to help. They have helped me TONS . I still have trouble with the 1970-S Small/Large dates.
Rest in Peace

RCC.
The 1970 is a LD. The 1988 is probably not an RDV 006. Hard to tell. The 1991 is most likely Machine Doubling. Now that you're on the forum, you'll learn things quickly. Lots of good folks & info here. If you can spring for a digital microscope they really take great closeup pix and you'll be able to get lots of help with your coin questions.

The 70 is definitely a Large Date.

The 88- Although the pic of the designers initials are small. I think I see the serriff on the "G" which would make it the 89 Reverse. Again...with the picture it is hard to tell so to get a 100% accurate assessment closer pictures are needed.

1991-impossible to tell with the pictures provided.

So the only one I am 100% on is the Large Date.

Ditto the
1970s large
1991 all I could make out was MD on the "C" in CENT
1988 really need a closer shot on the "FG" it looks like a possibility but can't enlarge it enough to be sure.

with all the above.

70-S is for sure a Large Date.

It would be helpful if you posted separate threads on each coin ... so we could better address your questions.
