Well since most of you know that I work for a bank, I just went up and got my 4 rolls of pennies. I plan on unopening 2 rolls and the other 2 rolls, I will be going through them for any errors but will be using a sergical glove lol. Just thought I let you guys know.

Where do you live? We haven't seen any 2012 pennies here yet--in the interior of BC.I've made a proper pest of myself at local banks and stores--no luck yet. Enjoy yours though-- I'll get some if I have to make them myself! Kidding.

Lol Saint. I'm located in Toronto and I work for the Head Office of a Major Financial Institution so we get them first then their distributed to the Branches.

Nice! I ordered one roll from ebay for like $3 including shipping, which I thought was a good deal since I've seen other rolls selling for around $7-$10. Saves me the hassle of going to banks and asking for pennies. Good luck on the errors! If you dont find anything you can sell individual 2012 pennies for about $1 haha |

Major chain store, thats who I can get some from down here
In the lower mainland every once in awhile

Ok, completed 2 rolls of uncirculated pennies and only found 2 errors and both rolls were non magnetic   |

WCP aha! That explains it. No freak out here. Just feeling amazed at all the trchnology we have in this world. Seems like magic to me,really.

Coin Chick, best place to get them is at a Head Office of any Bank. You will get them for sure.

OK here it is yes Safeway many rolls from them. Also, Tim Hortons just 2, they're very reluctant to give them out.
Just ask everywhere you go. To far to drive in to head office from the burbs.

How do I figure out where the head offices are? I went to a main branch once and they said they never see new coin. Is the head office different?

Coin chick, most head office branches are located in the downtown area. You can go to any banks website and do a search for the head office in Calgary. Their pretty much all located in the same area.

WCP Hi There,
So I showed up at the address you suggested on Friday + was told that if I came before 9 and asked for "Cash Lady," she might help me out. Slept in Sat. and went today b4 9. Cash Lady's day off, but was told that it's against policy. However, certain employee says to check back with him next Sun., and maybe he'll have a few " put aside " for me. Will do!
You'd think it was gold! But it's fun and I love the chase. Tks again for your help.
