I'll take that as stated. First one I've seen though like this. I've popped many a cent out of these holders. The majority were Indians. Believe it or not (maybe the press was not very hard) but the edges were in decent shape. Not gouged
like this one or having the non-cud and concentric line around the edge face forced in and up. I think the reeding or
whatever it is, was what first caught my eye on it. Maybe that was post damage later on and it just resembled a dimes
reeding. I kind of feel bad for the guy that basically gave it to me. Guess he paid a little bit for it, most likely from the same dealer of some of the other coins. The flip was marked: Reeded edge (Rare) I had to tell him some bad news on a few other coins that he showed me though. The only glimmer of hope would be the
Buffalo nickel on the copper one cent planchet. I told him I would help him out
on authenticating that one. Will post as it goes along.
