Revisit that one, with more patience. I don't think it's a "carbon spot."

SsuperDdave, what would you suspect it to be? Please forgive my misnomer :-/ to me it appears to be an area where verdigris had been on top of carbon spots. With the green topical matter removed, what I am seeing is dark spotting underneath!

Please help me learn this!

I'm guessing - mind you, not only am I not an expert on Lincolns, but I didn't even stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night - that a true "carbon spot" on a Lincoln would inhibit rather than encourage verdigris. Therefore, I believe that the remaining spots might react favorably to a longer-term application of the Verdi-Care. IMO they're not "carbon spots."

That looks pretty good JoeTurbo. Maybe I will give it a go on some Lincoln's tomorrow and see what I can do. I'm curious....is your VerdiCare a clear liquid or dark ?

"(122) Q: What should I do if my VERDI-CARE™ arrives frozen?
A: Freezing will not harm the product. If it arrives frozen, simply allow to thaw at room temperature and
use. DO NOT HEAT TO THAW! Heating may degrade the active ingredient and reduce the
effectiveness of VERDI-CARE™." "(126) Q: What is the shelf-life of VERDI-CARE™?
A: It is recommended to dispose of unused product within ONE YEAR after receiving it. Always store
VERDI-CARE™ in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze." Hmmmmmmmmmmmm contradiction?

InCirculation, contradiction? No. That's simply manufacturers guidelines. I am not sure what the compound is so I can't speak specifically. However, I can tell you that the type of work that I do, involves chemical compounds, the creation of, formulation of, and ultimately the distribution of the product which is professional hair color to beauty professionals.

Our product too can freeze during shipping, and the formula being stable can still be used, however it is advised against to store hair color in the refrigerator obviously.

More often than not, consumers need things spelled out backwards and forwards--you'd be surprised.

OK just wondering, I question everything, I understand from those answers that one says freezing will not harm the other says do not freeze. just seemed weird to me. Maybe if kept frozen for an extended time that would cause problems to its integrity. I wouldnt want a chemical in my freezer anyway just made me wonder if company was telling customer what they wanted to hear to sell product.
