Tim Hortons never fails to produce good change....My theory is that there is so many worldly travelers that want their java you get a good spread of change from all over the place. Normally in most buisnesses the employees take the rare change, but tims is full of foreign workers that don't know our money, so the rare change goes unnoticed and passed back out.

Sorry for the blurry pic.

That is a very special find chumpchange....nice.

A couple of months ago Tom Horton's gave me a counterfeit toonie.

Of course it is in the RCMP hands now.

Neat. But, the fishscale is smaller than a dime, so what was it supposed to be in your change?

That is a sweet find for pocket change. The best I've found is a tomac nickel.

Tombac nickel? Did they think it was a loonie? Never got one of those in change before. I've gotten blank planchets though -- 2 pennies and a nickel dollar (back in the day when they were still circulating).
