That is one nice proof. I saw US Seated Libert half proof sell at an Australian Auction a few weeks ago. I would really have liked to own both of these beauties.

On a related note, I've been looking for a really sharp-looking Barber half dollar for my 7070 album for awhile now and after seeing this beauty I just felt it was time to take a gamble and see about getting one. No, I didn't just buy the one in the auction I linked to above, but I did just buy the following coin for less than 1/10th the price:

Anybody-Got-A-Spare-$3650-Lying-Around?
Anybody-Got-A-Spare-$3650-Lying-Around?

The pictures are the seller's, so I won't see the coin in person for a week or so. The coin wasn't listed as being proof (or even proof-like), but it certainly looks that way to me. Lots of what appear to be milk spots, but the details are still incredibly crisp to my eye, and that's all I really care about for my type album. Even if it isn't a proof, the price I paid is less than what an AU50 is listed for on numismedia.com, so I think I'll end up doing OK with it.

The seller has over 2800 FB with an approval rating of 99.8%, btw, so I'm not too worried about the coin being a fake or getting totally ripped off, although I am prepared to find out that I somehow managed to overpay a bit anyway.

That 1913 is one very nice proof. If it was a cameo that would the icing on the cake. Looks like a nice 1908-D barber. If you get a chance, post some pictures of the coin when you receive it.
