I'm not greedy, I'd be over the moon about an AU58FB.

Sales tax? You kidding me?

Fine print says: Sales Tax is only charged on this item for residents of California if your invoice total of numismatic/bullion items is less than $1,500.

I don't see this going for less than $1500, do you? ;)

What is the population report (NGC, PCGS) for a 1916-D in MS-65 FB ... is it top pop?

Not sure about NGC.

For PCGS there are 32 in the 65, 19 in 66, and 7 in 67. None in the + service.

Interestingly, 1916-D dimes tend to be pretty well made, so with full bands, there are other dates that are considerably more scarce above the MS65 level.

So true. The 1916-d ms version for PCGS had less than 20 as a total pop for grades 60 and above. A recent ms65 of this coin sold for around 40k at auction

1919-D! The highest price paid for a Mercury dime at Heritage ($218.5k) was for a 1919-D in MS66FB 12 years ago. #2 is much more recent - a 1916-D in MS67FB ($195.5k).

still at zero bids, wonder if the potential bidders are waiting until the end of the auction?
