The Coin Hunter Valued Member Australia 148 Posts	Posted 06/05/2012 09:25 am Hi FNQ, I have catalogued 522 of these coins and 114 were the small die variety (the one on the right) and 408 were large die variety coins. Based on these numbers 22% of the coins are small die variety and 78% are large die variety. My method of determining large and small die varieties is to look at the length of the third prong of the trident (left most prong). The large dies have a short trident and small dies have a longer trident. TCH Report this Post to the Staff
