The time has come for me to buy scales. Until now, I have been using the "OP" * brand. As a matter of interest I have a wholesale account with this firm and can get them cheap. If a few forum members wanted one then I can supply them at cost price (about $32, depending on number I order). They also have a 200g version (QM7259). There are plenty on ebay for under $10, My criteria: sensitive to 0.01g; max 50g, but 100g is better, can't see you needing more than that for coins; and uses AA or AAA, rather than those expensive button batteries. Broken-Coin Pillar of the Community United States 1812 Posts	Posted 06/08/2012 1:17 pm I have a very expensive digital scale I purchased 12 years ago for weighing gem stones, and about 6 years ago purchased a cheap digital scale on ebay for about 15 Dollars (shipping included in price) from China... Believe it or not, both scales gave the exact same readings when I had to weigh & sell all my scrap gold (thank you lawyers), and would no longer second guess useing a cheap scale...
