What does this guy think it is, 2011? The sets are still available from the mint for 150!

Some people just prey on the fact that many have almost no clue what silver is worth and havnt been checking the price since 2011.

He's free to ask whatever he wants for his items. If someone doesn't take the time to shop around and find a better buy price, that's their own fault. Buyer beware as they say...lol.

Although I do not necessarily disagree with your position, BuffalosRock, your choice of language to express that position is totally inappropriate for Coin Community. I have removed it for that reason. For those of you who did not get to read this post, we'll say that this poster....somewhat disagreed with CoinHunter53562.

No harm, no foul, BuffalosRock. Just please don't in the future.

I couple have actually sold between 160-200. The vast majority have not. I see why they try though worse case their listing goes unsold, best case they order some more sets that sold. If they think theyre going to make any significant amount of money off this they are sadly mistaken.

Havent done the math but I want to say you have to sell it for above 170 to pocket anything at all off the set and if its not over 180 its not even worth the drive to the post office

Lol...I saw what he had written. It didn't offend me whatsover. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Basically my view is that those that price items way too high will hopefully eventually realize it, and the free market forces will take over to force them to drop their price or their item will go unsold forever. That's what I was getting at. The seller owns the item, and it's his choice what he wants to ask for it. In this particular case, the seller is selling on an online venue ( ebay) which means potential buyers have access to easily finding other similar items. If they're too lazy to shop around and buy the overpriced item, who's fault is it?

Edit: also, we don't know what the seller paid for the item or what his unique situation may be. Maybe he's about to lose his house or car, or about to get sued for unpaid medical bills. Regardless, at the end of the day it's his decision and his decision only to decide what to sell the item for.

Anyway, no offense was taken from Buffalo's reply.
