wquinn Pillar of the Community United States 2295 Posts	Posted 06/11/2012 1:06 pm A photo of both sides would help, but it could be a proof (like mentioned) or it could be a really nice brilliant uncirculated coin. To a collector it is worth more than face value, if either one, but not a whole lot more. It could also be a polished coin. If so, then it is just worth face value. Buddy Rest in Peace United States 7075 Posts	Posted 06/11/2012 4:30 pm Look on the net for a photo of a proof quarter + cameo + deep mirror. Is your coin like that? It is possible that you got an early strike which might just look like that, but you may have a proof. Of course, we'd all prefer to see your quarter but it is a bit of work to get a good photo of a shiny coin. Good luck. Report this Post to the Staff

It isn't something that is worth much, especially since it has been used in circulation, but it is definatly a curiosity since they weren't intended for use in circulation.
