McDonald's did a world coin set similar to that one in the early 1980s. Every time my parents drove by a McDonald's, I begged for a Happy Meal so I could complete my set. The only other Happy Meal giveaway that I lusted after were the Legos but it was a bad idea to get between me and a Happy Meal with some random darkside coin from a now possibly-defunct nation in it Oh yeah, I ended up with 2 full sets plus some extras by the time the promo ended

I ordered something like this in the 1950's but never received it.

Sent in the boxtops and 25 cents for a "world coin set".
