Hi penny and Squire. By rotated die, you mean that one side of the coin is at a different degree than the reverse? Best way I can describe it.

Cheers

Thanks enworb. Yes, I check all my coins for that error with no results yet. I'll keep checking though.

When the upsets or rotations get more severe they become harder and harder to find. I generally cant be bothered looking for them specifically when I noodle because they take up too much time.

So I think it will only be a matter of time (not too much time, judging by the number of coins that you are going through) before you will find an incused.

The chase is nearly as much fun as the catch....I'd be able to get an Incused or Rotated coin off a dealer or ebay pretty easily, but that'd take a bit of fun in the 'chase' I'd love to find one 'in the wild'

I'd recommend looking for Upset Die coins Enworb. All you'd need do is concentrate on the known ones: 2010 50 cents, 2001 Dollar, 20 cents. The
50's are easy to check; I just hold at 6/12 o'clock in fingertips, and spin them from front to back - upsets will stick out like the proverbial.

You certainly have been....!!
What coins/years have you found as upset dies? I'm trying to noodle for coins on the 3/9 o'clock or more range, up to the 180 degree - 6 o'clock
These striking upsets are in the 2001 20's and dollars; there's someone who's got a set of the 2001 Federation dollar in all the degrees of rotation
The 2010 50 cents are just off by one point, I'm not sure if they're any more rotated than that.
