You have a lot of mid 80's notes. Johnson/Fraiser, Johnson/Stone signatures. These are worth perhaps 10-20% over face value as they are in circulated conditions.

Sorry to say you can't retire on that lot.

to CCF!

As far as the grading goes none of them are UNC. The $5 note seems to be the best.

I cant bring myself to take back the $1 notes to the back because I like the design so much but the rest of the notes I would be returning to the bank. If they were given to you by someone special or you like them then you may as well keep them because theyre not costing you anything.

Well you have $39 to spend!

Keep them...it's a part of history. (But, spend the crudy $1 note because it's never going to be worth more than a dollar...mission for tomorrow, go into Coles/Woolies/IGA & but like a chocolate freddo or something for under $1...check out the reaction from the (young) staff member...it will confuse the heck out of them (& maybe create a coin/note collector). Guess what, you might even get change.

The $5 is probably worth $10 to someone. A dealer would sell it for more, but dealers mark-up everything for much higher than they are actually worth (sorry dealers reading, but you are all snakes/crooks...etc...etc)

I need sleep, my little Vincent had made me delerious...good night people.

Keep on collecting...it's an addiction (...I've had to re-think what I was going to type...)

Goatie man that's awesome, I'm going to try source $50 worth of well worn, undesirable mixed $1,$2,$5 notes, and go do some shopping while getting someone to video me.

I'm going to aim my buys to gen Y as I am one(but class myself X)this will make for great YouTube videos, and a bit of fun as I know most will get there managers that will have the same reaction.

$2 notes are going to be fun(they were my favorite as a kid)

So anyone out there with a bunch of mixed, damaged $1 and $2 notes, that would like to help me let me know(willing to pay up to 10-12.5% on top of face value to see there face value when I pull the note out and place in there hand!

You'd just have to hope you do actually get a reaction - would be great to see something like this on youtube :)

The reaction will be , "No reaction" I'm predicting in 9 out of 10,
might need a few 1c & 2c in there also, just so I can given them correct amount,as punching in amount, money given and how much change to give is quiet complex and would'nt want to confuse anyone too much.
