Thanks Craig, good to see someone is reading and taking note, and sorry to hear about your redundanticy.
Trout, I hear you also, it is very deep and dark, but I work 2 jobs, paying morgage , have a family and do the same as you everyday, I just dont belevie everything that is told to me without looking into it.(this is why alot of people dont see whats happening)
As for my silver and coins, I'm only building my collection up faster as this year goes on,just incase this end game does play out(the earth is'nt going to blow up) Anyway what on earth does all this have to do with numismatics anyway? Its the universal laungage , that has made "time" and space exsist :)
Penny: I thought we accepted global warming was "Happening" lol its a scam, And us Australians will see this effect on economy in next few weeks.I agree with what you say alot of b/s and things are told to us to control and put fear in us, It's what they don't tell us that is of greater concern.

lostsean Your survivalist attitude is admirable but I would assume that livestock fuel and a good supply of reloading components would be a far more valuable asset than PMs IF what you are fretting about comes to fruition. In the meantime I would suggest that you change your bong water a little more often

thats all been sorted since 2008 mate :), and amendments and upgrade's are being bought in first week of july, even gone as far as gathering a group of 25 people(4 "Normal working class Family's) with a basic plan(as you can be prepared only so much)and we also bought land ,that is set up with basic dwelling, longlife food supplies, medications ect, even as far as ,purifiers ,running water.
Alot of people take out medical/life cover for $500 a year, which 99% never gets used, and only covers basics. Our share was only 12.5k per family(can always be resold and nothing is lost, probabally even a small profit,as well as its a nice holiday retreat)It's like living in 1930 out back Australia, all daily appliances are there(washer, ringer) livestock is enough to multiply and still live off, Only reason I'm getting PM's last is , if does come into play, the world will re-build (as its done numerious, times in the past,so would be nice to be able to rejoin society with a little wealth)
Like I said before, I live in this system, I work hard , provide for my family and live like anyone else on this forum, As I'm a father of a 5 year old daughter, it is my dutie to protect her at all costs and do the best I can to guide her as she grows and enjoys this life for what it is :)
I hope this generation progress into a better era of living, but retirment will be a little unpleasnt once Gen Y have to run the world(i am aware I am a Y myself)lol
So I thank you for your advise, but myself, close freind's and family are set-up as best as possible at this point in time. As for the Bong water, I actually used purified water from running stream, as it's most likly the tap water itself that sends people off, rather then THC ? also not to big on smoking it unless its for back pain, which happens to be about as often as a new moon ;)
Anywho, I was just adding a opinion of mine, I have accepted most wont agree, but does'nt make it right or wrong, it depends on the reasons behind it, You would try protect your most precious note/coin the best you possibly could ?,My daughter is my world, and most precious. 2012 is not the end,(hope not as there are still a few coins I would like :) )it could be a new begining also.
Take care and I respect your opinion, but at this point in time agree too disagree, and hope in 2020 everything is fine and I'm wrong!Pride is no good if your not around to wear it!
So for now I will continue to look for the 2005 Coco's island Red footed boobie bird silver :)

Had another aftershock here in Eastern Melb. around 7.10 this evening. I was going through a pile of 50c pieces when the table started quivering - went for 15 seconds or so - the stacks of coins didn't topple or anything, but the photos on our wall were rattling a bit, like a big truck going past. Funny thing was, the kids were in the lounge watching telly and didn't feel a thing....

true this maybe, but considering we have not been around over the last 450,000 years thats a average based on recorded history! Remember we have has 2 minor pole shifts in the last 18 months, which will displace land and mass faster ect.
