i can't seem to find out what this is.i read something about this a while back but cannot find it.looks like trails above the mint mark and possibly die dents on the rim next to mint mark

It's gotta be some sort of damage to the die, but I have no idea what would cause that pattern. It doesn't really look like Feeder Finger Damage.

It does not look like a trail die on the MM. Do the "dents" look like a clash? Other wise it looks like die damage. Kinda neat looking, I would keep it.

I remember reading something about it also. It was on US cents and I believe it was from to much pressure used in striking. I will try to find it...
